John Stemberger is an AV Rated Orlando, Florida attorney who has worked in the pro-life, pro-family movement for over 25 years. In addition to the private practice of law he serves as the President and General Counsel of the Florida Family Policy Council where he regularly advises pastors and churches on legal issues.
Stemberger has a unique understanding of law, government, and the media from his extensive political background having served as a consultant to state, federal, and presidential campaigns. In 1992, he was appointed as the Political Director of the Republican Party of Florida during the final campaign of former President George H. Bush. Pastor Larry Stockstill was called into the ministry at the age of 16 and immediately responded to that call. After graduating from Oral Roberts University with a degree in theological and historical studies and a year as associate chaplain at ORU, Pastor Stockstill and his wife Melanie moved to West Africa to serve as missionaries in Nigeria and Ghana. In 1978 they returned to Louisiana, where Pastor Stockstill joined the pastoral staff of Bethany World Prayer Center, the church his father, Roy, had founded in 1963. In August 1983, Roy Stockstill retired as senior pastor of Bethany, and the mantle of leadership passed to his son, Larry. Both Stockstills emphasized simplicity, sincerity, and sacrifice as the guiding principles for the church.
In addition to his role of senior pastor, Pastor Stockstill is president of Heartbeat of Louisiana, a coalition of pro-life ministers. He also serves on the board of directors of Global Strategy Missions Association, a fellowship of missions-oriented local churches linked together for the purpose of world evangelization, and on the board of directors for Church Growth International in Seoul, Korea. Pastor Stockstill also hosts two television programs. |
